Travel COTA Jobs
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) work with occupational therapists to provide services to patients and clients with disabilities, illnesses, or other conditions that affect their ability to perform activities of daily living. They provide therapeutic activities as well as teach and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment. They also instruct patients and their families in the use of exercises intended to improve or restore movement or functional skills. Occupational therapy assistants are responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation, which may include notes about the patient's progress, evaluations, observations, and treatments.
